A warm, supportive space to explore what’s troubling you

You may be facing a difficult life situation, such as illness, bereavement, or another form of loss. Perhaps you’re struggling with anxiety or depression, or living with a sense that something in your life needs attention, even if you’re not sure where to begin. If so, I’d like to offer my support.

My name is Paul. I provide person-centred counselling and psychotherapy in Elton (Peterborough), Stamford, and online.

I offer a warm, genuine, and confidential therapeutic relationship where you can explore your challenges and make sense of your emotional and psychological difficulties. Together, through compassionate and curious exploration, we can work towards coping, growth, and change in line with your personal therapy goals.

Human beings have remarkable adaptability, resilience, and courage. While life’s challenges can feel overwhelming and may leave us feeling defeated or lost, I believe we each carry a hopeful core, even if it doesn’t feel accessible right now.

By exploring options for support, you’re already taking a meaningful step towards change, even if things feel uncertain at the moment.

Person-centred counselling

As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that human beings are ever-changing, resourceful, and creative, with an incredible capacity for growth and development. You are the expert on your own life and experiences.

At times, life can present challenges that cause us to lose our way, feel stuck, or become overwhelmed. Within the safety of a warm, respectful, and genuine therapeutic relationship, it’s possible to find ways to cope, grow, and change.

I offer this kind of relationship. You will not be judged, but supported as you explore your concerns. I will be a companion on your journey. While counsellors don’t offer advice in the traditional sense, we can explore therapeutic approaches and strategies that may be helpful to you.

By working together collaboratively, person-centred counselling can support you to develop greater understanding, confidence, and resilience, helping you move towards a fuller and more authentic way of living.
