About Two Trees Counselling

Qualified, ethical counselling in Stamford & Peterborough

I am a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and hold a First Class Honours Degree in Therapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy (Level 6) in addition to a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Level 5). I also have a Level 2 certificate in working with children and young people.

I worked with adults in a GP practice and young people in a secondary school throughout my diploma training, gaining experience working with clients with a range of presentations. This included working effectively with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, body image concerns, self-harm, abuse, and trauma to name but a few.

As a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), I work within the code of ethics laid down by the society. This helps to ensure our time together is conducted safely, ethically, and in accordance with the relevant legislation.

I receive regular supervision from a counsellor with a wealth of experience, who, in line with NCPS guidelines, helps to ensure my work with you is conducted ethically, beneficially, and to the highest professional standards.

I am fully insured, and, as a registered member of the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), protect all data related to our work in compliance with data protection legislation and guidelines.

I hope the above offers you peace of mind and reassurance that I provide qualified, confidential, and ethical support. Our work together will be a journey unique to us, and throughout it, you will not be alone.
