Online counselling

I offer online counselling sessions via video call for clients across the UK. This provides flexibility and accessibility while maintaining the same confidential and supportive therapeutic space.

Fees

£50 per 50-minute session

Concessions are available for counselling students and those working in health and social care. These are offered on the basis of regular weekly attendance, as consistency is an important part of the therapeutic process.

Working Together

Whether you contact me via the website form, email, or phone, I aim to respond within 24 hours.

Initial contact

Once you get in touch, we can arrange a free 15-minute introductory call. This is an opportunity to briefly explore what you’re looking for and to ask any initial questions you may have.

It also gives us both a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit, without any obligation to proceed.

Starting counselling

If you decide to go ahead, we can arrange your first full session at a time and location that works for you, either in Stamford or Peterborough (subject to availability).

Returning clients are also welcome to book sessions directly.

Sessions and frequency

Full sessions last 50 minutes and typically take place weekly.

The number of sessions you choose is entirely up to you. Some people find short-term support helpful, while others prefer longer-term counselling. We will regularly review how things are going and what feels most useful for you.

Counselling contract

At the start of our work, we will agree a counselling contract. This outlines our agreement, including session times, fees, mutual responsibilities such as notice and punctuality, and key contact details. It also explains the limits of confidentiality.

The counselling contract is a living document and can be reviewed and updated by mutual agreement at any time.

My approach

As a person-centred counsellor, I see you as the expert on your own experience.

My role is to offer a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can explore things at your own pace. I may sometimes offer reflections, perspectives, or techniques where appropriate, but these are always offered rather than directed, and you are free to decide what feels helpful for you.

For me, therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and led by your experience.

Questions

If you have any questions, or would like to work in a particular way, please feel free to get in touch. I will always do my best to help.
